Friday Favorite Spotlight: Sugar Sweet Sunshine

Just giving some love to my favorite bakery in the city: Sugar Sweet Sunshine on the LES.

I looooove their banana bread pudding. It’s how they hooked me in the first place.

Their chocolate bomb is great for chocolate lovers but actually too sweet for me after a few bites.

Other great pudding flavors include Chocolate Chip and Strawberry Lemon Trifle.

Though I have somewhat of a sweet tooth, surprisingly, I do not care for cupcakes much. Sure I’ll have one at a birthday party or whatnot but I don’t actively seek out cupcakes for dessert.

I do prefer SSS cupcakes though; they have great flavors and their buttercream icing are not too sweet and overwhelming.

My favorite is the pistachio cupcake.

I also like their sassy red velvet cupcake and ooey gooey chocolate cupcake.

  2. the first two pics are so good omg i have try this shit fghjk i wish i lived in new york wendy!! i also don’t go out actively seeking cupcakes but occasionally i will have them and the one you have posted pictures of looks absolutely delicious I definitely want to try that one.
